Easter Parade 2016

I really love Easter decorations: the colors, the bunnies, the chicks. With all the holidays falling so close together this year, I really feel like Easter has gotten the short end of the stick. So I may just have to keep this up a while after Easter is over!

I started with a light yellow tablecloth and green ruffled chargers. I used Lenox Springdale topped with Easter Bunny salad plates.

I used some Springy Vera Bradley napkins and clear and green stemware.

At each place setting, I added a matching egg cup and an Easter egg place card holder.

For my centerpiece, I used a cake plate to elevate a bowl of Easter eggs.

Bunnies and Chicks surround the centerpiece.

Easter egg Salt and Pepper shakers

Glass bunny butter dish

Assorted bunnies frolic on the hanging shelf in the Dining Room.

In the bay window of the Dining Room, the tea cart is also ready for Easter!

The tea table in the Parlor is also ready for an Easter Tea.

Have a wonderful Easter!

A Little Snowfall!

I dressed my table in snowflakes this week and what do you know - Mother Nature gave us a little snowfall also!

I started with my silvery gray tablecloth, a beaded white, silver and gold snowflake runner and platinum beaded placements, all from Target.

On top of the beaded place mat I added a Golden Snowflake plate from Cracker Barrel, my Cambridge Verona flatware which has a gold edge and water goblets with a gold and silver Greek Key design (TJ Maxx). I used creamy white napkins with a silver and rhinestone snowflake napkin ring (Target).

For the centerpiece I had a crystal bowl full of silver and blue ornaments. My daughter Emily added her beaded snowflake Christmas tree topper for the perfect touch!

Mercury glass candle holders with white/silver snowflake candles and silver place card holders complete the table.

Over on the little table is an ornament tree with lots of snowflakes.

My mantle is full of snowmen!

And on my back door there is an icy wreath!

All in all, I think I have more snowflakes on the inside than we saw outside!

I will be joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. Stay warm!

Golden Snowflakes

Last weekend, I had decided to put up all my snowmen, winter, snowflake decorations when I put up my Valentine's Day decor. But, a small, surprise snowfall delayed my plans!

So here's a table of Golden Snowflakes before we turn our attention to Spring, St. Patrick's Day and Easter!

This table was actually a make-over of my New Year's Eve table featured HERE.

I got these place card holders from Target on Clearance!

I love this golden snowflake teapot with cream and pitcher. I got them at Cracker Barrel years ago on clearance, when I got the plates.

My ornament tree has a blizzard of snowflakes - ornaments that I have collected through the years.

Singing the Easter Blues!

I am not really blue, but I did use a lot of blue in my Easter table this year! Will be sharing this with Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch - late!
I started with a white tablecloth and Light Blue Ruffled Place Mats. I then added white china and put Cracker Barrel Easter Salad plates on top.
I used Easter egg place card holders and an egg cup for a salt cellar (complete with salt spoons inherited from my grandmother) and an Easter egg pepper shaker.
I place the flatware in an Easter egg holder on top of a white lace-trimmed napkin.
My centerpiece is a collection of Easter eggs on a silver tidbit tray.
And my mantle is decorated in Easter style also.....
and my tea cart!
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!

Easter Parade

Happy Easter Everyone!
Photobucket

I have loved the pink and yellow colors of my last table, so I just decided to use them as the foundation for my Easter table -same yellow tablecloth, pink chiffon runner and pink napkins with gold napkin rings, as well as the same gold chargers and Royal Doulton Canton dinner plates with the same flatware and stemware.

BUT I added little yellow chicks throughout the table and the mantle and bird nests.

On top of the Canton plates I put my Cracker Barrel salad plates and put the matching egg cups to be used as a salt cellar and an egg pepper shaker at each place.

And I added an Easter egg place card holder above each plate.

My centerpiece is an egg tree from Target a few years ago filled with Easter egg candles, a few with chicks hatching!
