Oh I love those yellow daffodils! DH's grandmother had hundreds in her yard. When they moved to a retirement home I went to help them move and dug up some of her bulbs along with lots of other things!! I just prayed that the state border agent would not ask me if I had plants as if had I would have to hand everything over- God was good!! It was closed and I came home with all my goodies!!

Things are just beginning to peek through the ground here.

Jewel, those flowers are so lovely! Daffodils (Jonquils) will always remind me of childhood and Easter. Love them SO much! Love the blue flowers, too.

Happy Outdoor Wednesday...

Love your daffodils! Every Spring I tell myself I'm going to plant some bulbs at my house in the fall and for some reason I always remember too late. But we're beginning to have them here in Virginia as well -- just not at my house! LOL.
See ya!

Oh, honey, I am in serious envy over those daffodils. Mother calls them jonquils-- do you? They are beautiful, and I'm over envy now and so happy for you, and appreciate your sharing the beauty!

I'm drooling over those yellow daffodils. I have been looking at grey skies, flooding and mud. It is such a joy to know that Spring is coming. Happy Outdoor Wednesday!

I never get my fill of daffodils! They are so fresh and springish but last such a brief period of time. When I taught elementary school the children would bring them in by the fistsful and I would tuck their bouquets in empty paint jars. Such a sweet memory!

All the best, Lana @ Showers of Blessings
