My post for Outdoor Wednesday hosted by Susan at A Southern Daydreamer. Be sure and visit her to see all the wonderful posts!
Here is my yard as of mid-April! A Jazz Festival sponsored by my city was held across the street from my house on 4/18/09. My neighbor & I had almost 80 people over for a cook-out.
My Scotch Broom was in full bloom, with columbine to the left, Solomon's seal to the right and irises behind. I put zinnias and a gerbera daisy in the pot at my back steps.
My wisteria flowers were waning a bit, but I put annuals in my "circle."
Tomorrow, for Tablescape Thursday I will show you my table set up on my porch for the porch party portion of the Jazz Festival. :D Jewel

Hi Jewel,
This is so very lovely! That scotch broom is really nice, I don't know if I have ever seen one before. Look at all the annuals you've planted, they look so pretty and I bet your very tired. Cindy
That wisteria is really beautiful, and your flowers are so bright and cheerful.
I love the sundial garden with all annuals and the hot colors of summer. Sonia/Miss Bloomers
Beautiful! How fun to have the festival and gathering right at your home. :)
Great outdoor pics and Happy Wednesday!
J'adore your garden! Luv the wisteria and the garden bed with the sun dial!

Oh my look at your glorious Wisteria! What a great yard you have! Happy O.W. to you...
Ah -- still LOVE that wisteria!
Your Scotch Broom is beautiful. Do you find it invasive? I finally yanked out two at our last house -- we had such limited garden space and they were taking over!
Plus my kids were little and didn't like how they smelled. Oy, kids.
Great annual bed --love the circle!

All so pretty. I'm partial to the wisteria -- and to anything else purple!

Your wisteria is gorgeous!!

That's a BIG cookout! Your yard looks lovely.
I love all your pretty bloom! Went out today and have just a few things beginning to come out- My iris are budding and can't wait to see them! I planted last year and many of the marker came off so am not sure if all the varieties are here or not-
Thanks for giving a thought on my little business venture- I sure wish I was as creative as some of you gals out in blogland-- it is amazing the talent!!
