It's Tablescape Thursday sponsored by Susan at BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH!
Last week I shared with you my current "Under the Sea" Tablescape. These pictures are of my "By the Sea, By the Sea" table last year. Not as elaborate as this year.
As you can see, I didn't use a tablecloth, only placemats. I used blue melamine plates and the capiz shell plates from Target. I used very simple stemware and my Colonial Shell flatware with the same Target seersucker napkins.
Stacked cake plates with shells and a small vase of daisies complete the centerpiece.
A simpler, more casual table with a similar theme as last week.
Be sure to visit BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH for lots of other tables! :D Jewel

I do love this color combination - it just looks 10 degrees cooler!
Beautiful tablescape!! Thanks so much for sharing. Connie
So pretty. I love the idea of seersucker napkins.
I am starting a NEW Mr. Linky party. It will begin on Aug 10th so everyone will have a week and a half to think about their first post. I have a poll up for votes on which button should be the new button. The "party" is called The Knock Off Knock Out-where THRIFTY meets creative sensation. Go over and learn more about the new weeky event and I would appreciate if you would cast your vote and HELP pick the new button design and its the last week for the July GIVE-A-Way, if you would like to be a part of that event..

A beautiful table and room!!
Your tablescape is very pretty, but first I had to get beyond your pretty, pretty room! The furniture, the wallpaper, the woodwork, the doilies, oh I am coveting it all! It looks like a very comfortable as well as beautiful home!
All the best,
Eileen
Seersucker napkins--how did I miss those at Target--love them! Your dining room is beautiful!
I still just love those precious little shell dishes. Your table looks so serene and pretty. Those napkins are perfect with your dishes. laurie

Beautiful table! Every time I see pics of your house there is something new to admire! Today it is the brass? kickplate on the door.
Gorgeous!

Love this color of blue and I am normally not a blue gal, but I am changing! Thanks for dropping in my blog, always nice to hear from you. I so love visiting your blog, seeing your historic home and the fun things you do. Interesting!

That blue just pops. A great table.

OK, I'll grant you that there is less bling in this week's table, compared to last week's, but I like this. . . and easier to find the crumbs when they aren't hiding under the tulle!
Love those shell plates. And of course, I LOVE your dining room -- whole house in fact.
And placemats -- I have to get some of those. They are so practical, as well as pretty. Spill the ketchup, and you don't have to wash an entire cloth!

How pretty! Love those colors!

By the Sea, By the Sea is the song that comes to mind. It is so calming, I can see the blue sea in your wonderful tablescape!
This is so pretty and feels as if you are sitting along the sea!! I have the capiz shell chargers from Pier I. Yours looks blue and I don't know if it is just the lighting, but I love it!!
And....I love your daisies!!! I think everyone in Bloggerville knows that I adore Daisies. I think they represent the simple side of myself...it doesn't always show up...!! LOL!!
Have a great weekend and thanks so much for visiting me!! :-)
xoxo
