My first Christmas table of 2012 is inspired by the tune "March of the Wooden Soldiers."
I started with a red tablcloth and marched my most militaristic nutcrakers right down the middle of the table!
The four tallest form the center of their wheel formation.
Reviewing the troops from the mantle are more wooden soldier nutcracker.
At each place setting, I started with a gold charger, added a plaid napking and then a Cuthbertson Christmas Tree plate. I used wooden soldier nutcracker place card holders, of course!
Here they are marching!

What fun to have enough nutcrackers to design a tablescape with! Blessings...
I love your nutcracker table! I did a nutcracker mantle last year which I loved and this year I will be doing something different. I'm going back to the nutcracker theme next year!
What a wonderful collection and a great way to display them. I am sure they will be topic of conversation and the table. Dianne

Terrific inspiration! I'm impressed..."wheel formation", "reviewing the troops". So cool!!! I love how you used nutcrackers on the mantel, too. The one in the center looks like a general! :-) Cool place card holders, too!!!!!! Way to go, Jewel! I hope you're having fun with your Christmas decorating and other preparations so far!
