It's Tablescape Thursday sponsored by Susan at BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH!
I have to admit that my table is not yet set for fall, but I have some pictures from last year to share. I like to start out with a light tablecloth and get darker as fall progresses.
Here is my table with a light ivory cloth and a transparent paper runner with Chinese lantern plants on it. My china is Spode Woodland Turkey with a gold charger and Waterford Lismore crystal. My silver plate looks a lot like Grand Baroque, but it's a Ross Simons knock off.
My turkey centerpiece is surrounded by some blown glass acorns and two vases with small pumpkin candles surrounded by fall colored acrylic jewels (of course!).
Just the first of many fall tables, many featuring my Spode plates.
Happy Early Fall, Y'all! :D Jewel

Hi Jewel,
I haven't seen you in awhile!
Your table is very pretty! I love those glass acorns!
We have the same Waterford...I bought it for myself before I retired as I knew I wouldn't be able to buy it after!
I am not ready for fall yet either..still summery here!
What a lovely table! Your Waterford is beautiful & I ♥ your china, too.
I have the same salt & pepper shakers & need to get mine out for next week. Thanks for the reminder!
I love Turkeys! This is a great fall tablescape -- I sure hope I can find some pretty acorns this year.
Oh what a gorgeous table. Love the plates.
I can just see that turkey strutting down the table runner! You have set a lovely table. (I'm still hanging onto summer too. Fall will come soon enough!)
What a gorgeous holiday table! How I'd love to have some Spode!

Everything is so pretty but tell me about that runner--did you say it was paper?
my tablescape is on my spindle cottage blog
Well now that turkey is a treasure! He is just gorgeous -- Where did you get him? I see plenty of roosters of his size and caliber, but no turkeys!
Wonderful table, and I am manfully trying to control my turkey dishes envy. Nope, not succeeding. . . .

How did I miss your gorgeous tablescape? Everything looks so pretty and bought some of those plates. They're so pretty! Your centerpiece is so lovely too. Now you be careful and don't fall preparing all of your Falleness!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Beautiful! I love the pretty table runner...
