Halloween 2017

My Halloween tablescape is the same as my Fall tablescape (Link HERE) with a few spooky tweaks!

As you can see, I used the same gold tablecloth, wooden chargers, Spode Woodland plates, Williamsburg Shell stainless and pewter cups.

I added pumpkin salad plates and Halloween crackers as well as a plastic wine glass.

I used some napkins I got at Target years ago.

This is the same centerpiece with a faux Jack O'Lantern instead of the elegant faux pumpkin. and I put smaller Halloween items around the base.

Not much work, but a whole different feel!

Happy Halloween!

I will be sharing with Between Naps on the Porch.

Pumpkins and Pheasants

Well, the weather here is dreary, so I need a pretty table full of fall goodies to brighten things up! What are a few of my favorite Fall things? Pumpkins and Pheasants!

I started with an Ivory tablecloth and gold chargers. I added a runner full of appliqued pumpkins from Big Lots that I bought a few years ago.

I used my Spode Woodland Pheasant plates, green goblets (from Target several years back) and dark gold napkins with a pumpkin napkin ring and pumpkin place card holders (also from Target in years past).

For my centerpiece, I used a beaded placemat (TJ Maxx) with a ceramic pumpkin elevated on a small glass cake stand.

Of course, I scattered a few autumnal colored acrylic jewels around the centerpiece!

On my mantle, I have pumpkins and turkeys (not pheasants), but it's all autumnal!

On a side note, I go this teapot and creamer a few years ago at TJ Maxx. There was no sugar bowl, but I figured I could find one some day. Well, it took a few years, but one finally popped up on eBay a few weeks ago!!! Pepper Tree Tea Wares is the only marking on the bottom. I love the Fally look of this tea set!

Easter Parade

Happy Easter Everyone!
Photobucket

I have loved the pink and yellow colors of my last table, so I just decided to use them as the foundation for my Easter table -same yellow tablecloth, pink chiffon runner and pink napkins with gold napkin rings, as well as the same gold chargers and Royal Doulton Canton dinner plates with the same flatware and stemware.

BUT I added little yellow chicks throughout the table and the mantle and bird nests.

Photobucket

On top of the Canton plates I put my Cracker Barrel salad plates and put the matching egg cups to be used as a salt cellar and an egg pepper shaker at each place.

And I added an Easter egg place card holder above each plate.

My centerpiece is an egg tree from Target a few years ago filled with Easter egg candles, a few with chicks hatching!

I have put on my gold tablecloth and used a beaded snowflake runner I got at Target for 50% off. I used my gold ornament tree and hung silver and gold glitter ornaments and some New Year's hats and saucer champagne ornaments from KMart (also 50% off). I used both gold and silver chargers and my snowflake plates that I got from Cracker Barrel last year. I have my water goblets with the silver and Greek Key trim and some saucer champagne glasses. I used ivory napkins with silver snowflake napkin rings. Between the plates and the chargers I used large plastic snowflakes from the Dollar Store. I saw these used by Susan at A Southern Daydreamer last year, so when I saw them this year I grabbed them ! Thanks Susan for a great idea!

Tablescape Thursday "By the Sea, By the Sea"

It's Tablescape Thursday sponsored by Susan at BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH!

Photobucket

Last week I shared with you my current "Under the Sea" Tablescape. These pictures are of my "By the Sea, By the Sea" table last year. Not as elaborate as this year.

Photobucket

Photobucket

As you can see, I didn't use a tablecloth, only placemats. I used blue melamine plates and the capiz shell plates from Target. I used very simple stemware and my Colonial Shell flatware with the same Target seersucker napkins.

Stacked cake plates with shells and a small vase of daisies complete the centerpiece.

Photobucket

A simpler, more casual table with a similar theme as last week.

Be sure to visit BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH for lots of other tables! :D Jewel

Under the Sea Tablescape

It's Tablescape Thursday sponsored by Susan at BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH!

Photobucket

Here is a table using the dinner plates from my new Big Lots Gibson Dishes - I call it Under the Sea.

As you can see, I am using my Tiffany Blue Tulle again. It is amazing how many tables I have used it for: Sweet 16 Breakfast at Tiffany's, Tea Time at Monet's Garden, Winter Wonderland and now Under the Sea!

The dinner plates and the napkin rings are Gibson Claremont. The salad plates are made of capiz and were from Target a few years ago. The seersucker napkins and mercury glass votive holders are also from Target.

The flatware is another Target purchase. I had seen it in the store but admit that I didn't appreciate it until I saw it used in a tablescape in my latest Southern Lady magazine. I love how the faceted handles sparkle! The stemware is Fostoria Heritage and the salad bowls are by Cambridge Glass Company "Near Cut."

Here are some pictures of the centerpiece:

I took a footed compote (Target World Bazaar several years ago) and put a blue vase (Michaels) on it. I filled the blue vase with clear acrylic shards/jewels and put silver and pearl stems in it. All of this is from my Winter Wonderland table, but I thought in this setting it seemed watery and bubbly. I surrounded everything with seashells and a few blue glass beads and some silver ornaments.

I added my Target fish salt and pepper shakers

and a pewter shell butter dish (found in my house when we moved in) and some shell butter spreaders ( Target and Big Lots).

So there you have my Under the Sea Tablescape!
