Tablescape Thursday Graduation!

It's Tablescape Thursday sponsored by Susan at BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH! I am featuring my younger daughter's graduation from High School last Saturday!

Be sure and visit Susan at Between Naps on the Porch by clicking the picture below. There are always lots of great tables to ooh and ahh over!!!

My daughter's graduation was Saturday Morning at 9:00. For lunch after the ceremony, we had a cook-out at our house for her and several of her friends and their families,39 people in all.

Here is my table.

I hung with some graduation decorations on my golden ornament tree. I used her Graduation cords, confetti and crystal graduation symbols around the base.

Everyone brought what they wanted to cook out - burgers, hot dogs, chicken, veggie dogs. Every family brought some side dishes and beverages and a great time was had by all!!!!

For Dessert, Cakes and Cupcakes.

One of my friends made this from Martha Stewart - isn't it incredible?

The next day my family along with 2 friends took a trip to Gettysburg, PA. This was my graduating daughter's choice. Our whole family loves Gettysburg!

Happy Tablescape Thursday! :D Jewel

  6. Congratulations to the graduate and to her lovely Mother too!! I did this last year for 2 so I know how much planning goes into the party. Your table looks great, so festive. We had about 100 last year and we worked like dogs for 6 week-ends in a row getting it all decorated, food planned and made and then about 5 minutes after the party ended my hubby went to bed sick, very sick, he had lyme's disease. It took him 4 weeks of antibiotics and a lot of rest to get better. Whew! So glad were done, hehe, have a lovely week. Cindy

  11. Congratulations on the graduation of your daughter. I hope you had a wonderful time in Gettysburg. I live not too far from there, closer to Harrisburg. We took my inlaws there just last month and showed them the new visitors' center. We must go back again when we have more time.

Thank you so much for all your comments! I really do treasure them all. If I don't respond to all of them immediately, it is because I work full time and share a computer at home. Thanks again!!!
